The Situation: Carl D’Aquino at the Jersey Shore

Just when “Jersey Shore” has become a synonym for the end of civilization as we know it, along comes a Carl D’Aquino beach house in Barnegat that restores the resort area’s natural class. With his architect partner Francine Monaco, Carl has designed a classic shingle-style house with a dramatic stair tower overlooking the bay and an inlet as well. The interior is light and airy, utilizing an open plan that caters to a young stylish family’s needs. With three very young children running around, most items were selected to be kid friendly, but the rooms still achieve an infectious elegance that’s a world away from Snooki and the gang.
